About two years ago, Austrian scholars researching Strategizing Activities and Practices (SAP), which is also a transnational Interest Group at the Academy of Management, had met for a first regional meeting in Innsbruck. Today, we convened for a second time at the Open Innovation Center at Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz.
Milena Leybold, previously PhD student at the Department of Organization and Learning in Innsbruck and now Postdoc at JKU’s Linz Institute for Transformative Change, organized the event together with Theresa Füreder (JKU). She summarized the event over at LinkedIn as follows:
We mapped our research interests, enjoyed an inspiring keynote speech by David Seidl on “Four Views on What Makes Activities Strategic”, and, most importantly, engaged in thought-provoking discussions. We also strategized the future of the Austrian Community in roundtables and, of course, had a lot of fun along the way!
I could not agree more and am truly grateful for having been a part of this great event.
